The film “Fuchun Mountain Map” is based on the masterpiece of the Yuan Dynasty painter ,Huang Gongwang's “Fuchun Mountain Map.” It tells about the story of the acquisition of treasure between the Chinese agent, the yakuza and the British burglar. E-GO designed and produced the two-minute opening animation at the beginning of the film, used surrealistic way to express the soul world of Xiao Shan Ben.

We designed five abstract roles with different attributes. The Golden Man swings his sword, the wooden man grows out the field, the ice man breaks, and the fireman dances. Earth man drilled from the ruins, and eventually turn into dust. Through out the five Elements transfer between each other, it reflects different interaction between the five roles. Audience can feel the characters inner world better, while watching the movie. In the early stage of the film production, E-GO participated in the prime concept design. The scene design combined gold, wood, water, fire, and earth elements, but it was rarely shown in actual shooting. The design concept was only shown in the opening film.
